Pop print

     For my pop print I chose to do a monster tab. I chose it because I have a real life collection of monster tabs and it seemed right to mass produce. Mass producing something was interesting because each time I got something different which was kind of cool.

       For me not having control of my art was very hard. Letting go of my work and giving it to someone else not once but twice was extremely difficult. It taught me to just let things go and to loosen the rains and let something different come to light.

Fortune cookie

       When I was handed 6 fortune cookies I was shocked at the result. I found one that I actually connected with. It said "the philosophy of one century is the common sense of another". I interpreted it as the choices you make and where it will lead you later in life.  It inspired me to make two different looking faces go in different directions to represent the choices you can make.

I think our collection tells us that we live in a time where we have a lot of different stuff that also is the same because of its color. Our collection says things like what our interests are but also how we are different.

I have a very intersting collection. My collection is of monster tabs. Monster is a type of energy drink that comes in many flavors. Each flavor has a diffrent color tab. When i drink or find a monster i take the tab and keep it in a box in my room. Icollect them because i think there cool and i might use them in a craft later in life if i get enough.

I had a lot of fun with both projects, but if had to pick a favorite it would have to be the bike. I liked challenging my artistic ability with something you would think would be really easy to draw and turners out to be difficult. i liked using colored pencil to shade i though it was a cool and fun way to add some value in to the candy drawling.
